XO Dogs is committed to producing the ‘total
dog’. Our Pharaoh Hounds excel in the breed conformation ring, lure
coursing, obedience, therapy work, health, and temperament.
Our male, Ch Sovrin
Superman SC was #3 Pharaoh Hound in 2000, #1 male in 2001
and 2002, #5 in 2003 with a BIS, multiple group wins and
placements. His up and coming young son, XO
Spectacular Spectacular was also a Top Twenty Pharaoh Hound
for 2003.
XO Dogs owned both Winners and Reserve Winners
Bitch from the Pharaoh Hound Club of America National Specialty in
2002 in a class entry of 26 bitches. We also exhibited the Reserve
Winners Dog.
Our girl, Ch Katobi’s
Kryptonite did quite well in 2001 by going BOS Specialty
Sweepstakes at only 6 months old, then completed her Champion a few
months later at 10 months old at the prestigious Central NJ Hound
Show by going Winners, Best of Winners, and BOS for 3 consecutive
majors defeating the prior two National Specialty winners and also
going Best In Show Sweepstakes.
Most of our Pharaohs are excellent lure coursers
and are titled in AKC Lure Coursing with either the JC (Junior
Courser) or SC (Senior Courser) title.
XO Dogs has also competed with Pharaohs in
obedience in AKC, UKC and Canada, achieving a CD (Companion Dog) and
CDX (Companion Dog excellent).
Several of our dogs are also registered therapy
dogs and visit nursing homes as part of demonstration and visiting
team.
Health is also a prime concern and all of our
breeding and non-breeding dogs receive tests and certifications for
hips, elbows, patellas, eyes, thyroid, and heart.
