This past year I
managed to squeeze in a few doggie activities myself.
Kal-el,
Rave, and
Sanna all
completed their Nederlands Kampioen title in breed
conformation. Both Sanna and Rave received Group 1
placements and BIS-6 and a BIS-9 respectively. Here
there are 10 groups and all 10 group winners are
placed 1 through 10 in the BIS ring. Kal-el received
several group placements as well, with a Group 2
being his highest placement. This was enough for all
3 to earn an invitation to their ‘Westminster’
equivalent here which is called the ‘Hond van het
Jaar’ show in February. I just don’t know how I will
handle all 3. Any volunteers??
All 3 also received their lure coursing licenses
which was another longer process than I am used to
in the US. I still don’t understand the way the
competitions work here, so I hope to understand that
better next year. We ran in several events, and all
did very well, but Rave is the best runner!
In the US, several XO dogs completed AKC titles in
the past year..
* CH XO The Matrix Reloaded ‘Trinity’
owned by Michell DeLuca in PA became a breed
Champion and as of November 30 is #11 PH in the US
* CH Katobi’s Fortune of Cairo JC ‘Cairo’
owned by Mark and Irina Loparev in FL became a breed
Champion and is also in the Top Twenty PH.
Cairo also earned his Junior Courser title in lure
coursing.
Several others are pointed and some very close to
finishing.
One XO dog had a change of home last year.
XO Gold Card
moved in with XO Fuji
and Sarah & Darren Heimburg in NY, due to a military
transfer of her family.
Goldie has been a welcome addition there and will
most likely be the next CH as she needs just 1
single point to finish.

XO Dogs had one litter last year
with Sanna and Rave and those puppies are now 6
months old and I have enjoyed them so much this past
year and all the updates I get from their homes. One
puppy out of this litter showed already at 6 months
and 5 days old and picked up a 3 point major at his
1st show. This was XO Emerald Isle ‘Killian’
owned by Charlotte and Kevin Foley in MD.
I always enjoying hear about all the pups, and not
just show results. I absolutely love the pictures of
‘daily life’, completing a puppy class, the cute
jacket, playing with the family. It just warms my
heart to see my puppies (they are always puppies to
me!) enjoying their lives. I save every picture and
update.
